With over a century of experience, Monini is one of the most authoritative symbols of Italian extra virgin olive oil. A brand that has evolved over time while maintaining a strong commitment to quality, territorial culture, and the centrality of raw materials.


The challenge of the project was to strengthen the brand's premium positioning without compromising its recognisability, while enhancing a unique and deeply identity-defining element: the hand. Monini's hand is not a simple graphic sign. It is a gesture. It is the immediate representation of the "olive press" - the brand's payoff since 1973 - a powerful image that directly and memorably conveys the promise of naturalness and authenticity that the brand offers. We chose to give greater prominence to this symbol as a true strategic asset, keeping it as the centrepiece of the narrative and visual identity.

To reinforce the premium positioning, a new element was introduced for the category: a cap inspired by the world of spirits. A deliberate design choice, capable of transferring into the extra virgin olive oil segment the codes typical of high-end distillates. The cap is not merely a functional detail, but a sign of value and ritual that elevates the overall perception of the product. To complete this sense of refinement, the base of the bottle was enhanced with a subtle yet distinctive debossing, lending tactility, elegance, and uniqueness to the act of picking up the bottle.

Every element has been carefully redesigned and refined. Every component has found its ideal dimension and placement, optimised to improve clarity, balance, and maximum shelf impact. All products in the portfolio are now united under a cohesive and consistent visual system, strengthening the overall brand architecture. The iconic image of the hand holding the olives, together with the distinctive yellow-green palette, ensures immediate recognisability and consolidates the brand's heritage as an Italian icon in the olive oil sector. A strong and harmonious family system that elevates the brand while preserving its identity.
