Liathmor

A legendary Scot

A new Scotch whisky, created for Familia Torres and inspired by the legend of the "Big Greyman": a powerful tale brought back to life, for a whisky waiting to be discovered.

The name and imagery, created specifically for this product, draw on the vivid Scottish culture, steeped in mysterious and fascinating legends, to evoke the smoothness of this Highland distillate.

Liathmor, Gaelic for "Big Grey Man", is a legendary figure believed to live on Mount Ben Macdhui, in the heart of Scotland: a man of exceptional stature and with mournful features that a London researcher and climber allegedly encountered in 1891 while ascending the mountain, as he later published in a diary.

Piercing the fog while ascending a rocky terrain of inscrutable charm: this is the metaphor with which Robilant has chosen to narrate the "discovery" of Liathmor, a distillate as smooth as the fog, but with a character as solid as the rock.

Robilant has created the entire communication ecosystem for Liathmor: name, storytelling, product identity and BVI, presentation video and website.
