Kikokà
Sooo yellow, sooo sweet!
Robilant designed and crafted the brand identity of Kikokà, the new brand of yellow flesh kiwi fruit that belongs to the Rivoira Group, an international benchmark in the production and marketing of fruit.
The work focused on positioning the brand as a whole, its corporate identity, naming and packaging, as well as curating the soundtrack that will accompany the market debut in the months to come.
« The initial challenge, in a world where the product sometimes speaks for itself, was to coin a name that encapsulates the extremely sweet and vitamin-rich spirit of a yellow kiwi, but the real desire was to go beyond and extol the true eclectic nature of a fruit that can be eaten on its own, in a smoothy or in a fruit salad. This is where the project started, with the creation of a catchy name, something outside the box, like a jingle, a chorus. A brand that was prepared to move beyond its classic territory and approach the world of music and fashion.»
Angelo Ferrara, Creative Director of Robilant and Project Manager.
Robilant activated a special proprietary methodology for the creation of the name, carrying out a sensorial-naming-session during which hundreds of names stimulated by images, videos and music were transcribed: a multisensory path to activate and free the mind in order to search for a name that would be memorable and surprising.
The search led to an onomatopoeic name which originates from the word “kiwi” but invents a new rhythm: kikokà.
with its rhythmic sound and the sequences of the three sounds, the design features dedicated fonts in which the letter o resembles the shape of a yellow kiwi.
