After bringing the London Dry Gin to life, an authentic emblem of British tradition, Edgar now aims even higher: to create a gin that is even more refined, unique, and extraordinary.

A NEW PREMIUM PRODUCT

Tired of London’s grey skies, Edgar dreams of warmer lands where he can craft his new gin. He heads south and, once past the Alps, glimpses something extraordinary on the horizon in the middle of the night. Curious, he moves closer. They are not simple lights, but sparks of lava! Fascinated by the spectacle, Edgar lands with the elegance of a true gentleman on the slopes of Mount Etna. Here, between the volcano and the aromatic treasures of Sicily, he'll find the perfect ingredients for his new gin.

THE ISLAND’S BOTANICAL TREASURES

Juniper, the aromatic heart of Edgar Sopper Premium Gin, develops resinous, spicy, and fresh notes near volcanic areas. The berries, recognizable by their reddish-brown color, are handpicked in autumn, when the concentration of essential oils is at its peak. Blood orange, a symbol of Sicily, in the Moro, Tarocco, and Sanguinello varieties, provides fresh citrus notes thanks to its peel, which is rich in essential oils. Broom, with its flowers gathered in spring when they turn the slopes of the volcano yellow, adds a touch of delicacy and a hint of smoothness.

With this new gin, we wanted to build on the success of Edgar Sopper by designing an even more premium expression of the same concept, enhanced with a distinct Italian character. Our goal was once again to enrich Montenegro’s product range so that each item could act as a standard-bearer of Made in Italy. In this case as well, we created a synthesis of bottle shape-name-visual identity and an incredibly rich story, capableof immediately conveying Italianness as a synonym for quality and refinement.
