The White Box challenge.. are you ready??

During one of the EPDA annual events we will bring together design students for The White Box Challenge!

The challenge begins with a deliberately simple object: a plain white box. But the real challenge was never about the box itself. It's about what happens when designers are handed something ordinary and asked to imagine what it could become.

Six Schools, one meeting point
Students from six universities have taken on the challenge: ETIC | École de Design à Blois, Paris, France, Escola Superior de Artes e Design, Porto, Portugal, Vilnius University Academy of Arts - Kaunas Faculty, Lithuania, SAE Athens, Greece, University of West Attica, Greece, The American College of Greece, Athens.

This November, they'll all converge in Athens to present their projects side by side - a chance to see how the same simple brief plays out across different schools and creative traditions.

Part of a bigger conversation
The presentation will be part of "Human, After All", an event bringing together designers, thinkers, creatives, and students to explore questions currently reshaping the profession - artificial intelligence, creativity, authorship, and what it truly means to be a good designer today.

As AI tools become capable of generating almost anything, the organisers argue that the real differentiator for designers isn't production - it's judgment: knowing what's worth creating, and why.
